Tumblr / wrxked

Soooooo, I've created a new Tumblr, wrxked. Well - just changed the url, design and the 'themes' of what I post from my old one. On my last blog I posted pretty scenery, cute boys and girls fashion. My new Tumblr is completely different and I prefer it by far. I've named it wrxked as "wrecked" was taken and "wrxcked" with the 'c' looked weird. So it's like "wreked", ah I like it. I prefer one worded url's as they look more clean, imo.

Anyway, here are a couple screen-shots.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

I bought this product simply because Tanya Burr uses it in literally every tutorial. That is all.

Rimmel are one of my favourite drugstore brands (their eye products in particular are bomb) and the Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder is no exception. I got mine in 001 transparent as I hate coloured setting powders (aside from the MAC ones) and I loooove it. If you want a fully matte look then I'd definitely pick this up - it leaves no shine whatsoever and lasts for absolutely ages which is great if you have oily or combination skin. It also smells really nice and fresh, it's weird, I like it.

The only thing I dislike is the packaging. I hate how the lid is separate to the product which makes it awkward when using it out places. However, it is only around £3.50 so it is understandable. Yet for the price it's a really great product and I highly recommend.

[Finding time to blog recently is really difficult because I'm getting towards the end of year 11 which means exams exams exams - most of them are final ones so I can't retake so the pressure is definately on. I'm coming up to Easter half break soon (2 weeks off, yay) so hopefully can blog loads and write lots of drafts that I can post when exams are on. Other than that I won't be able to blog fully until the end of June *sad face*. School first I'm afraid.]

"Sweet Tart" by Revlon

Even though I'm still in school (we have the no nail polish rule), I still like to wear bright colours on the weekend. I always paint the colour on the top of false nails - that way I can easily remove them before school and can always use them again. It also doesn't stain my nails, especially with the bright and darker shades.

The colour I've been loving recently is Sweet Tart by Revlon; a bright, near-enough neon pink. I've found with this nail enamel that the more coats you apply the less bright it becomes which is good. In the picture above I've applied around four coats so it's a much darker hot pink. The formula is really nice - it dries super quickly and is really thick and opaque. They also come in tonnes of shades!

For £6.49, I highly recommend :)

NYX Slim Lipliner Pencil in Dolly Pink

I don't own any lip pencils/liners, so when I was ordering off the NYX website recently I thought I'd pop one in my basket, just to try. I chose the NYX Slim Lipliner Pencil in Dolly Pink. For £3, it wasn't gonna bother me if they were rubbish.

But I actually think they're good, especially for the insanely cheap price. They don't drag and are fairly pigmented. "839 Dolly Pink" is a bright, barbie pink shade which, in sunlight (left swatch) has a slight sheen to it compared to it in normal lighting (right swatch) where it looks more matte. Either way, it's a really nice colour that can be either worn on its own or underneath a gloss or lipstick.
