Miracle Hair Products

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum, Leo Bancroft Instantly Sleek, Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment, Kerastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique

These are my hair saviours, the products I cannot - repeat, cannot - live without. My hair type: long, normal with very dry ends, never been dyed, naturally straight yet unruly, I use heat on it everyday. My real hair is normally disguised by my extensions yet I still take really good care of it.

Up first is the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum (£18) which is designed for people with straight hair who want to keep their hair straight whilst reducing frizz and fly aways. It's super lightweight, smells lovely and you only need to put a tiny bit on after towel drying your hair. It's lasted me forever and I'll defo repurchase.

Macadamia is one of my favourite hair brands, I love their deep repair mask and their shampoo and conditioners but the stand out product for me is the Macadamia Natural Oil Treatment (£6-£21). It works in the same way as the famous Moroccan Oil yet it's just so much better! It's way lighter on the hair and doesn't leave it greasy even if you put it on dry hair which is what I tend to do.

Another saviour is something I randomly picked up in Tesco and it is the Leo Bancroft Instantly Sleek Smoothing Serum (£4). I use this on the days where I straighten my hair as it keeps it dead straight all day. It's also really good for in humid weather as you don't get fly aways, and it's so cheap!

Lastly is probably my favourite - Kérastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique (roughly £18) as it does so many wonderful things: it protects hair from heat-styling tools and improves hair straightening and drying performance, it softens and moisturises hair and adds smoothness and shine. It's targeted towards people with dry to very dry hair and it works so well. I'd definitely repurchase this again and again despite the price.

I hope this was helpful

Body Shop Shea Range

Shea Shower Cream, Shea Body Scrub, Shea Body Butter

The shea range at The Body Shop is my favourite. It's probably the most boring range they do scent-wise especially as they do lemon and chocolate but nevertheless it's my favourite.

I've tried practically all of the shea products they offer from soaps to scrubs to perfumes to oils and the three above are my favourites! The Shea Body Butter (£13) is extremely thick and moisturises the skin so well, a little goes a long way with this product. I love using this after showers and after tanning as it keeps it looking fresh. I also love the Shea Body Scrub (£12) for exfoliating in the shower - it has small beads which have an abrasive feel to them. I do have to say they can sting a little when you wash them off but the results are great so it doesn't bother me too much. My only complaint is that it doesn't last long! Lastly is the Shea Shower Cream (£4) which is soap-free and really moisturising - can't say anything bad about it really.

Check out the shea range here!

Music Picks of May

I know that, in this day and age, it's so easy to illegally download music to our iPods and iPhones. Yet I much prefer buying the songs on iTunes for 99p. I don't know why. The artwork looks nicer, its more official, the sound normally is of a better quality than if I was to use a converter. Anyway, this months music picks...

My favourite this month has to be Boston Square by Deaf Havana, it's just been released and I'm already hooked on it. Have a listen here, scroll down for more picks.

Other favourites
- Cruise by Florida Georgia Line ft Nelly
- Let Her Go by Passenger
- It's Time by Imagine Dragons
- Mighty To Save by Jeremy Camp
- Antenna by Fuse ODG
- Work by Iggy Azaela
- Love Knows No End by Hillsong Live

I shall be posting my beauty favourites on the 1st!

REN Skincare

Active 7 Radiant Eye Gel, Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, Clarity Restoring Mask, Clarifying Clay Cleanser

I've wanted to try so much stuff from REN for so long. It seem as though everyone who I follow on Bloglovin' and on YouTube rave about certain products - especially the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask.  I've read so many reviews on each products and narrowed it down to four. Yet instead of buying all four in full size I thought I'd buy two (which I like to call the 'safe' purchases) and the other two as samples. Their website offers two free samples with every order which is great for trying new products without shelling out the full retail price. So what did I get?

The safe purchases. First I got the Clarity Restoring Mask as I heard Vivianna talk about it on her videos - it's meant clear the skin of all the shit that's clogged it up. I needed a new mask anyway so I thought it would be perfect to try this. I also got the Clarifying Clay Cleanser, from the same range, after an amazing review by Caroline Hirons who is the skincare Queen.

As for the samples, they are both products I really wanted to try: the Active 7 Radiant Eye Gel and the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. The second one is the one I'm most excited to try as e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e has raved about this product. I'm glad however I got it as a sample before-hand as I'd be gutted if I hated it and just wasted nearly thirty quid on it.

So that's what I bought - shipping was free (another bonus) and only took around 3 days. I'd definitely recommend buying on the website as you can create your own page which gives you many discounts and bonuses. You can pick your favourite "all-time" product for which you'll get 10% off every time you purchase it (don't worry you can change it every 6 months!). I'll definitely be ordering more stuff. Expect reviews in the future of each product!

Have a good day, and I'll talk you in the new month!

Full Coverage Foundation Routine

Nars Powder Foundation #Fiji, Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder #Transparent, L'Oreal True Match Foundation #W3, Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch #2, MAC Studio Finish Concealer #NC20

These are the products I use for a full coverage base!

I start off with the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in oil free. This is the best primer I've used as it's free from silicone, it's really lightweight and refreshing. I then put on the L'Oreal True Match foundation - the shade above is W3 but it's a little too light for me right now. I normally use W6! I don't need full coverage concealer under my eyes so I just use the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch as it acts as a subtle highlighter as well. For imperfections and scars I use MAC Studio Sculpt concealer in NC20 which, again, is too light but the concealer itself is what I use. It's great full coverage and covers up practically everything. To set everything I normally use Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in transparent down the t-zone, yet if I need a little more coverage I use my NARS Powder Foundation which, I have to admit does feel a little heavy on the face but it works really well for setting everything and providing more coverage.

I always set everything with the Urban Decay All-Nighter (not pictured) which helps everything last all day!
